Portrait
You like winning with your head, and most of all together with friends. A well-planned win as a group of four is worth more to you than any solo heroics.
Tech? Has to work. You usually leave the settings as the game suggests, and that is perfectly fine. You would rather put your energy into figuring out how to turn this one round around after all.
In your group you are often the one who calmly says: “Okay, new plan.” And most of the time it actually works.
Strengths
+You think along and still have fun doing it.
+You keep groups together, even when things are not going well.
+You get a long way with very little tech effort.
Pitfalls
!When the group just wants to mess about, you still itch to make a plan.
!Sometimes you ignore settings even when they would really help.
!On your own you quickly lose motivation.

The right setup
Monitor
Full HD with 144 Hz is comfortable and affordable. Your games rarely need more.
Graphics card
A solid entry-level to mid-range card. Your favourite games are more about brains than graphics.
Processor
A current six-core processor. Strategy games with many units appreciate a fast processor.
Memory and storage
16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD are plenty for your everyday gaming.
Accessories
A comfortable headset with a microphone. No coordination, no tactics.
Software
Discord for the group, and otherwise the default settings. One click on “update driver” every few weeks is enough.
